Potential Threats
- Wheels of vehicles are vulnerable against ballistic and artillery threats.
- Even with run-flat inserts, wheel deflation after an attack severely degrades mobility, making the vehicle more vulnerable to further attacks.
- Small arms fire and ball ammunition are common in conflicts and can easily disable a wheeled vehicle by causing tyre deflation.

- Lighter solution compared to foam or liquid, and CTS can still be used.
- Provides ballistic and fragment protection for tyre, rim, and axle hub.
- Mounted flush with the tyre to reduce obstruction on the vehicle's width.
- Safer compared to solid spaced protection plates, as it is flush with the tyre.
- Flexes with the tyre to accommodate its shape when deflated.
- Protects the tyre against rocks on sidewalls.
- Can reduce the thermal signature of the tyre and hub.
- Utilises conventional steel armour for durability.
Customisation
- Can be designed and customised for any tyre size.
- Can be designed for higher levels of protection by adding ceramic tiles on a flexible bonded substructure.
